Effluent & Muck Spreading Services in Hamilton

Effluent from the dairy shed and muck from yards and feed pads are worth more on the paddock than sitting in a pond or a heap. Waikato Regional Council's effluent management guidance describes farm dairy effluent as a valuable source of nutrients, and spreading it puts those nutrients back on the land.

We cart and spread liquid effluent with a tanker, and solid material with a muck spreader. The spreader in the photograph carries our badge and both of our phone numbers.

The council says dairy effluent systems must comply with the Waikato Regional Plan and the national freshwater and stock exclusion regulations 365 days a year. When a contractor does the spreading, it recommends agreeing application rates, application depths and responsibilities before spreading begins, so we talk that through with you before the job starts. If you are renewing pasture on the same paddocks, undersowing or direct drilling can follow.
